Our Story
MESTIZA was born from movement, identity, and raíces.
What started with a pair of grip socks became a way to carry a little piece of home wherever we go.
Mestiza represents the beautiful mezcla of cultures, stories, skin tones, influences, and generations that shape who we are. It's about honoring where we come from while creating our own path.
Rooted in identidad, inspired by cultura, and designed for movement.
Every design carries a little piece of our raíces, reminding us that no matter where life takes us, our story moves with us.
Meet MariAle
Hola, I'm MariAle — the heart behind MESTIZA. 🤎
I'm a proud Colombian, a yoga and movement instructor, and someone who believes that movement is more than just exercise. It's a way to reconnect with ourselves, our roots, and the things that make us who we are.
I've always been described as someone with los pies en la tierra — grounded, intentional, and connected to where I come from.
MESTIZA is where my love for movement meets my cultura. A little piece of who I am, created to inspire you to move with confidence, embrace your raíces, and feel grounded wherever life takes you.
Move • Breathe • Reconnect.
Con cariño,
MariAle 🤎
Our Mission.
To bring together movement, cultura, and identidad — one step at a time.
At MESTIZA, we create grip socks designed to help you feel grounded, confident, and connected to your raíces.
We believe in celebrating our cultures, embracing individuality, and creating a community where everyone feels welcome to move, express themselves, and reconnect.
From Pilates and yoga to dance and everyday movement, our essentials are made to move with you.
Because being grounded doesn't mean standing still. It means tener los pies en la tierra while creating your own path.
